1) I have received information that Extreme Trials Riders Assn. of Jersey Shore, PA will hold two MAVT events for 2010. I have adjusted the MAVT/D-6 schedule to reflect the changes.
2) For next season, I plan to change the "Exhibition" classes to "Masters" classes. The change will be in name only and will still be a voluntary class for those who excel on a particular line, and wish to give others a chance to trophy. If the Masters classes become more popular than the previous Exhibition classes they may, in time, become trophy classes. I'm hoping the name change will be more attractive to some of our better riders who don't wish to "move up".
3) I have started to rewrite the Rules pages, trying to better define the rules. Once our MAVT club representatives approve of these changes we will create a booklet for all clubs to have on-hand at their events. Take a look. I welcome your comments. Updates will continue throughout the winter.
5) Over the winter I will be featuring photos of our 2009 Series Trophy Winners. Though we encourage and appreciate everyone's participation, I want to feature those riders who are at the core of keeping MAVT alive and well by either setting up, running or checking at our events.
6) An '09 photo page is in the works. We'll start with Candytown and go from there. Just posted.
7) If you would like to comment or have questions about our web site or Vintage trials series, please use the text box below. Don't forget to include your e-mail address if you would like a response.
